As an independent agency for the promotion of construction steel, ConstruirAcier is in France the counterpart of Infosteel in Belgium. The board members of Infosteel are representatives from steel production, distribution (Belmetal) and construction. In France too, the same three groups sit on the Board of Directors of ConstruirAcier, which is chaired by Michel Julien-Vauzelle (2nd from the right in the photo) who is also Chairman and CEO of the FFDM, the French Federation of Metal Distribution.
During a meeting in Paris between the general manager of Infosteel, Koen Michielsen (on the left in the photo),and the new managing director of ConstruirAcier, Charlotte Flores (on the right in the photo),and with the support of the FFDM and Belmetal, synergies between the steel promotion agencies of these two French-speaking countries are being sought and found.
